Everything you need to know about Young Wallander: Killer’s Shadow may be found right here.
What exactly is it about?
According to the official Netflix description for Young Wallander season 2, Wallander is “adrift and uncertain about the future following his departure from the police force.” A opportunity to rejoin the Major Crimes Team arises when a new Superintendent, Samuel Osei, takes charge of the squad. Wallander takes the job and is given to a case that seems to be simple: a hit-and-run near a nightclub.”
“However, Wallander believes there’s more to this tragedy than meets the eye when the victim is tied to a legendary murder case handled by Frida Rask eight years earlier.” Even when his investigation leads him to those who may end his career in an instant, he refuses to give up his pursuit for the truth.”
Who is among the cast of the film?
Young Wallander is played by Adam Plsson. Plsson is a Swedish actor notable for his parts in Moscow Noir, Don’t Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves, and The Bridge.
Frida Rask, one of Wallander’s police colleagues, is played by Leanne Best again. Most are best known for his roles in Black Mirror and Four Lives, although he has also acted in Star Wars, Line of Duty, and Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool.
Elise Chappell (Poldark), Yasen Atour (The Witcher), Tomiwa Edun (Merlin), and Lisa Hammond (Eastenders) are among others who will be joining them.
Is there a trailer available?
There is, indeed. You may see it right here — and witness Young Wallander in his childhood.
I’m not sure how or where I’ll be able to see it. From February 17th, all six episodes of Young Wallander will be accessible on Netflix.
What’s the connection to Wallander?
Inspector Wallander by Henning Mankell is the inspiration for Young Wallander. Kenneth Branagh starred as Kurt Wallander in the television adaptation of those novels.
Young Wallander is not linked to Brannagh Wallander (the chronology wouldn’t work since both series are set in the current day). Instead, it’s a reimagining of the character, retaining the youthful version in the present day to maintain Mankell’s societal critique.
What is the age of Young Wallander?
Instead of a graph, here are some simple facts: Adam Plsson is 33 years old. That implies he’s a decade younger than he is in real life — in the series, Young Wallander is in his early twenties.
