‘The Kardashians’ Returns With Season 2 Trailer
When the Kardashians return for more of their Hulu reality series, they promise “insanity” ahead.
The most prominent plotline has been omitted from the official trailer, despite the second season of the reality TV family’s series’ synopsis’s promise to demonstrate the family’s unshakable bond “as they navigate their public and private lives for the world to witness.”
Each member of the Kardashian family opens up about their own recent problems and victories in the nearly two-minute official first look for season two of The Kardashians, which premieres weekly on September 22. Kim Kardashian refers to her “season of independence” but leaves out Pete Davidson, with whom she has been seen dating for the first time since announcing her divorce from Kanye West last year.
This month marked the end of the couple’s frenzied nine-month relationship. After making his debut in the season one finale, the SNL star was promised to be a hot topic of conversation in the upcoming season. However, the teaser concentrates on Kim’s other drama, including her response to criticism of comments she made about women in the workplace in an interview. She also appears to make reference to the Met Gala Marilyn Monroe dress controversy when she refers to herself as “the Marilyn and the Jackie.” She states, “I genuinely feel like I’ve found my personal confidence,” at one point. In a season two teaser that debuted earlier this month and showed Kim mentioning her “lover,” Davidson made an appearance, albeit briefly. (THR has contacted Hulu to inquire about Davidson’s participation.)
The family invites viewers back to stand with them through their greatest victories and tribulations, according to the official synopsis. From smouldering relationships and monumental moments in life to unbelievable accomplishments. Even though their public and private lives are on display, the family link is unshakeable.
Khloé Kardashian, who delivered her second child through surrogate earlier this month amid allegations of his infidelity, adds in another scene from the teaser, “Going through what I went through was really painful. Simply put, I feel like a fish in a fish bowl. According to a person with knowledge of the subject who spoke to THR, Kardashian and Thompson have been estranged since the child was conceived and have not spoken to one another outside of co-parenting-related things.
When it comes to her double wedding with Blink-182 singer Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian is seen putting her own whirlwind romance with him on display. She can be seen wearing a wedding gown in the video.
Earlier this year, Kylie Jenner welcomed her second kid with Travis Scott. She opens up to her sister Kendall Jenner about her postpartum emotions, revealing that she feels she should be joyful with her baby son but has “cried nonstop for three weeks.” Later, Kendall discusses Kylie’s absences from work, and matriarch Kris Jenner breaks down in tears as she talks to her family about an unidentified procedure.
Khloé sums up, “I wish we could have one boring day in our household.
The Kardashians is executive produced by Fulwell 73 partner Ben Winston, Emma Conway, and Elizabeth Jones, with showrunner and executive producer Danielle King. After 20 successful seasons on E!, the famous family joined the Disney clan in the first season, which debuted in April 2022. When the show was first announced, two seasons with 20 episodes each were ordered.
