Julianna Margulies Officially Returning to The Morning Show in Season 3
Julianna Margulies will officially make a comeback on The Morning Show in season 3.
Julianna Margulies, who portrays the host of the morning show, is not moving.
The Morning Show’s third season will see the Emmy winner return in a recurring role as Laura Peterson, a UBA News talking head who became Bradley’s infatuation. She first appeared on the programme in Season 2 of The Morning Show.
As previously stated, Jon Hamm, a veteran of Mad Men, will return for Season 3 to reprise his role as Paul Marks, “a business titan who sets his sights on UBA.” With Charlotte Stroud (Homeland, Fosse/Verdon) replacing Kerry Ehrin as the showrunner, there will also be a big change.
Since Laura is completely confident in her own skin, Margulies recently told TVLine that Laura “operates radically differently than any of the people that you see in that show.” To my knowledge, she is the only skeleton-free character on the show. She is giving her best effort and no one is attempting to undermine her because everything is out in the open.
The Morning Show’s tumultuous second season saw the end of Steve Carell’s Mitch Kessler, who had been exposed as a persistent sexual abuser in Season 1 and fired from the show bearing his name. When his old co-anchor Alex (played by Jennifer Aniston) paid him a visit, Mitch spent the majority of Season 2 in Italy, where he perished in a car accident just before the COVID-19 lockdown started.
