Anime employs a range of narrative techniques to fit its stories. Durarara, often known as DRRR, is a ten-year-old Japanese light novel series authored by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. The non-linear narrative of the musical plays mental games with the audience and keeps them thoroughly absorbed. The previous two seasons were huge successes in terms of popularity and fame. This gives me, even more hope for the third season of Durarara.

Unfortunately, there has been no official confirmation of Durarara Season 3’s renewal. In addition, due to the pandemic’s outbreak, numerous programs have been rescheduled. Durarara might be one of the programs to follow suit. We’ll have to wait a bit longer for any updates on the show’s progress from the show’s producers.
Release Date for Durarara Season 3
On January 8, 2010, MBS, TBS, and CBC broadcasted the first season. After a long wait, the second season, dubbed Durarara!! 2, was released in 2015. Studio Shack created it to replace Brain’s Base, and it debuted in 2016. Due to the time gap between the previous two seasons, Durarara Season 3 is likely to be published in 2021.
The Story
The allure of a big city may aid a person’s shift from a small town to a major city. However, it comes with several new dangers, including criminal gangs operating in the city’s underbelly. Mikado Ryugamine, a Raira Academy student, travels out to explore Ikebukuro’s city life. A long-time acquaintance, Masaomi Kida, warns him about Shizuo Heiwajima, Izaya Orihara, and the infamous “Dollars” organization.
The series goes into the lives and viewpoints of each of the characters one by one in each episode. The story centers around occurrences in Ikebukuro and how the different energies of the characters clash to create a maze of possibilities that eventually links them together. Is Durarara Season 3 on the way?
