One of those memorable anime shows that you see once and can’t stop thinking about, Code Geass: Linley of the Rebellion, strikes me as just that.
For two seasons, “Kdo Giasu: Hangyaku no Rurshu,” popularly known as “Hangyaku no Rurshu,” has been a huge hit.
As a result, it’s no surprise that fans are excitedly anticipating the upcoming season.
The lack of a season 3 announcement is a good cause for this piece to dig into the details of why it hasn’t happened yet.
In the past, what were the seasons about?
Brittania gradually becomes a significant military power in an alternate universe depicted in the story.
Area 11 is where they began their invasion of Japan.
Despite fighting against tyranny for the most extended period, Japan was defeated.
The story revolves around Lelouch Lampeouge.
Former members of the British royal family find themselves in a vulnerable position between the rebels of Area 11 and the oppressors.
It aired its first season in 2006, and its second season came out in 2008.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection” was the closest fans could get to a possible third season of the popular anime. On February 9th, 2019, it was released.
Every fan knows that if they haven’t heard anything in five years, it’s pretty improbable that they will ever hear anything again.
It’s a common theme in nearly every show that’s debuted in anime history. We’ll have to wait and see if there’s a third season in the works.
In the case of Code Geass, it’s good news that there’s been no official cancellation, even if fans have already been waiting for communication for more than a decade.
Let’s look at the franchise’s chances for the third season.
Fan anticipation could be rewarded this year or in 2022 with a significant announcement.
Are there plans for a third season?
After earning $8 million at the box office, the film’s distributor, Studio Sunrise, appears to have enough money to fund a possible third season of Code Geass.
Studio Sunrise and the show’s other partners have yet to make announcements about a third season.
Code Geass: Z of the Recapture” will premiere in 2021.
Fans may have to wait until 2022 to watch any new series because there won’t be any this year.
While no official release date has been announced, Code Geass: Z of the Recapture is projected to arrive in the winter of 2023, in the fall of 2022.
Blood Lad & Drifters season two are also on our list of things to look forward to.
