The King’s Avatar Season 2: Release Date | Cast | Episodes | Storyline
The King’s Avatar: Season 2 is a Chinese E-Sports Drama based on Hu Dielan’s online novel of the same name. The program was directed by Shi Yiyue and co-produced by Fang Fang and Yang Xiaopei. On July 24, 2019, Tencent Video released the first 40 episodes of the show. Today we’re going to speculate about Season 2.
The storyline for Season 2 of The King’s Avatar
The King’s Avatar’s second season is set in a fake Chinese e-sports culture and revolves around a game called the Glory. The major character, Ye Xiu, is depicted in the film as he rises and falls in the e-sports scene. The finale is a clash between Team Xing Xin and Team Jia Shi. Ye Xiu, the protagonist, is a member of Team Xing Xiu. They defeat Team Jia Shi, take home the title, and qualify for the pro league. The pro-league would very certainly be essential to the storyline of the Second Season.
The Official Press Release
The King’s Avatar has been renewed for a second season. The news was first reported by Donghua reviews, who confirmed that the second season was announced during the Tencent Conference, with Yang Yang reprising his role as Ye Xiu and that it will be released in 2020.
The Ensemble
The only cast members thus far have been reported to be Yang Yang as Ye Xiu and his twin, Ye Qiu. It’s also reasonable to expect the majority of the team to return. Given that the first season’s ending represented them qualifying for the professional league, Jiang Shuying portrays Chen Guo, Li Yujie portrays Tang Rou, Lai Yi portrays Bao Rongxing, Fan Jinwei portrays Qiao Yifan, Sun Ning portrays Luo Ji, Yang Tingdong portrays Mo Fan, Bai Xiang portrays Wei Chen, Song Hanyu portrays Wu Chen, and Li Junchen portrays An Wenyi.
Release Date for Season 2 of The King’s Avatar
The release date was indicated at the presentation as sometime in 2020, but no exact date was given. It’s worth noting that the conference took place in January when the virus was at its most vulnerable. As the sickness progressed, they were most likely obliged to change their plans. As a result, we can infer that the release date has been delayed. For the time being, we may expect Season 2 of The King’s Avatar to premiere in 2021.
