Jason Bateman and Marty Byrde rejoin for the final season, and the narrative picks up after Marty Byrde relocates Jason’s family. As played by Laura Linney, Wendy wreaks havoc on local Mexican criminals and the Kansas City mafia.
The story revolves around an ordinary family guy who develops into an anti-hero. Because this is the final season, there will be more episodes than in prior seasons.

Ozark is a Netflix original, and the release date for the fourth season has yet to be revealed.
Ozark season 4 will release in June, with 14 episodes split into two parts. The show’s first half is broadcast on January 21, 2022, with the second half following in 2022.
Rumors of Cancellation
Netflix did not cancel any future seasons but did proclaim Season 4 to be the show’s last season, putting the show’s run to an end. Chris, the showrunner, is delighted, claiming that the show will appropriately complete Byrde’s story.
The fourth season is currently being filmed.
Despite the epidemic’s limits, filming began in November 2020.
Bateman said in an interview with IndieWire that he would direct the first two episodes. Due to the pandemic’s safety precautions, it wasn’t the ideal option. If one of the actors becomes ill, the entire cast will be isolated for many weeks; if any of the crew members fall sick, they will be allowed to maintain their employment while quarantined, and we will be able to find a replacement.
