Love And Monsters 2: Everything You Need to Know
Dylan O’Brien and Jessica Henwick feature in the 2020 film Love and Monsters. It was published on Netflix on October 16, 2020, to much acclaim! It was also nominated for Best Visual Effects at the Academy Awards.
Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, this comedy and the action-packed monster film are set. Joel Dawson (Dylan O’Brien) has been surviving underground with the dregs of humankind. Their land has been overrun and is infested with creatures, making human presence exceedingly perilous. Joel reconnects with his high school lover, Aimee, via the radio by coincidence while underground and begins to fall for her again. She is, however, now 80 miles away in a beach colony. Joel, abandoned, lovestruck, and with nothing to lose, determines to find his way back to her, despite the dangers he would encounter along the road.

Michael Matthews directed Love and Monsters. Brian Duffield (who also wrote the story) and Matthew Robinson authored the script.

Love and Monsters were released about a year ago, but a sequel has yet to be announced. Despite the first film’s popularity, the producers have yet to tell a sequel. Fans may be in for some bad news since there are currently no clues of a sequel in the works. It appears that the producers only intended to make one film. We should not give up hope just yet!

Of course, Dylan O’Brien and Jessica Henwick will resume their roles. There would be no narrative if they didn’t have their sweet puppy love. Oh, and their pet Boy! Isn’t he the cutest boy ever? He has earned the right to his fan following.
Assuming it takes up immediately after the previous film’s events, we should see Michael Rooker, Ariana Greenblatt, and members of Joel’s colony like Karen.
