Star Wars is currently experiencing a little streaming resurgence. Since the show prioritised Disney+, it has created some of the best content in its illustrious history for the streaming service. This includes current hits like The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi. While both of those series will probably continue, The Book of Boba Fett’s status is still up in the air.
The renowned bounty hunter was followed in the Mando-Verse spin-off as he made his way out of the Sarlacc Pit and headed for the throne that Jabba the Hutt formerly occupied. With the exception of a few fan-favorite cameos, the series received average reviews when compared to other Star Wars streaming productions.
As a result, the notion of a Book of Boba Fett has begun to seem somewhat improbable, with the actors of the series expressing uncertainty over whether “Boba Fett will get another adventure or not.” However, one of the series’ stars has recently hinted that there might be more to come from the recognisable Mandalorian.
A Teaser for a Boba Fett Book
Ming-Na Wen, who plays Boba Fett in The Book of Boba Fett, gave a positive update on Season 2 while attending Fan Expo Boston.
She mentioned the “second season of The Book of Boba Fett, I hope!” when asked about her illustrious career and what she is most looking forward to right now. Knock on wood, they’ll be announcing that soon before saying:
I hope there will be a second season of The Book of Boba Fett.
Before they hatch, I never count my hens because in this line of work, anything may happen. However, fingers crossed, they’ll be revealing it shortly.
Wen’s comment does not represent a confirmation that it will happen, but it should be noted that this is not the first time the actress has mentioned the possibility of a Season 2.
Will there be a second season of Book of Boba Fett?
The prospect of a second season of Book of Boba Fett feels a little hazy right now. In terms of viewership, the initial batch of episodes went well, but in terms of critical acclaim, it did not exactly light the globe on fire.
Wen’s remarks in this case definitely look a little suspicious. She pretends that she is simply imagining the show’s second season into reality. But why does she keep claiming that she anticipates hearing about it soon?
As Disney+ Day and D23 approach quickly, statements like these need to be investigated a little bit more. Either of those events would be the ideal setting for Disney to make the world aware that more Book of Boba Fett content is in the works.
The first season of The Book of Boba Fett is currently available to stream in its entirety on Disney+.
