Ted Lasso Season 3: Everything You Need To Know

Ted Lasso Season 3: Everything You Need To Know

According to actress Hannah Waddingham, production for the third season of Ted Lasso will begin next month. As the new manager of English League side AFC Richmond, an American university football coach finds himself in the middle of a comedy-drama series on Apple TV+. A typical fish-out-of-water character is Jason Sudeikis’s Lasso, portrayed by Sudeikis himself. Seasons 1 and 2 of the show have been a big success for Apple’s streaming service, winning a total of seven Emmy Awards.

After her divorce settlement, Rebecca Welton, the owner of the football association, is played by Waddingham and Sudeikis in the comedy program. At first, Rebecca appears to be an angry, defiant person, but she soon warms to her unusual situation and Ted’s overtly sympathetic manner. In 2021, Waddingham received an Emmy nomination for the Supporting Role comedy series for her work on the show.

According to Waddingham, season 3 of Ted Lasso will begin production next month. Ahead of the program’s debut, the actor says in an interview with Variety that there is still work to be done before the show can go into production. Waddingham offers a tentative filming date of March 7 who says the crew will regroup.

There is no filming yet. Right now, we’re just getting everything ready. And it takes a lot longer than most people imagine. It’s like putting a bunch of dishes back in the appropriate place. I believe we’ll meet again on March 7, at the earliest. We’re all antsy because it’s been such a long time since we’ve seen each other.

Additionally, Waddingham was just cast as Hocus Pocus 2’s lead actress. This October, Disney+ subscribers will get their hands on the long-awaited sequel. Brendan Hunt, co-creator of Ted Lasso season 3, has hinted at a temporal shift in the future episodes, which are expected to be as popular as their predecessors. Season 3 filming had been rumored to be delayed in recent weeks, but Waddingham appears to have eased any concerns about a protracted wait by announcing the March date of manufacture.

Season 3 is almost here, which is excellent news for fans of this improbable blockbuster success. The return of Ted Lasso is now assured for either the remainder of this year or the early months of 2023, thanks to the confirmation of a March filming date. In the meantime, you can catch up on the first second season of Ted Lasso, which is now exclusively available on Apple TV+.
