Aren’t action movies meant to be fast-paced? With all of the dazzling effects and ear-piercing rifle noises and so on? We don’t need to tell you that Mission Impossible is one of your top choices when it comes to fast-paced action films. Like the concept, the franchise does not postpone its releases, which revolve around Tom Cruise, over 60 years old but still a young man at heart. After the international success of the previous installment, Fallout, it didn’t take long for them to come up with the second installment.
Yes, the Fallout was so successful that Paramount is already planning MI 7 and 8, which will once again include Christopher McQuarrie’s directorial effort, and if everything goes as planned, both parts will be filmed. Back-to-back!
Regardless, rather than daydreaming about a distant future, let’s focus just on the sequel for the time being. Here’s all you need to know about Mission: Impossible 7.
Will Jeremy Renner and Michelle Monaghan return in Mission: Impossible 7?
Most of us were sad when Jeremy Renner’s presence with his IMF squad in Fallout was postponed due to his Marvel movie commitments, as he plays Hawkeye in the game. Director McQuarrie remarked on the incident, saying that it was a sad event owing to faulty timing.
So… since the MCU Hawkeye series is set to premiere shortly. We can only hope that Jeremy Renner will reprise his role as William Brandt in Mission: Impossible 7.
Aside from that, Michelle Monaghan, Ethan’s ex-wife Julia, might appear in this chapter. Although her tale seems to have concluded in Fallout, we never know what twists and turns this section may bring, right?
Mission: Impossible 7’s Estimated Release Date
When it comes to the launch date of Mission: Impossible 7, we must admit that this film has experienced several challenges and has been moved back and forth. The first release date given by paramount was indeed the summer of this year, namely July 23rd, 2021. However, due to post-production delays, it appeared that MI 7 might be unable to meet the deadline. As a result, Paramount moved it to November 19th this year and owing to some internal issues, it was pushed even further. According to reports, the current release date for Mission: Impossible 7 is May 27th, 2022.

Mission Impossible 7: plotline
The individuals behind the scenes of Mission: Impossible 7 keep a tight lid on any potential spoilers. So, for the time being, all we know is that Ethan Hunt and his gang will embark on some other hot-blooded mission to save the world from anarchy. It’s worth noting that the franchise’s seventh installment will not be the final one. As previously stated, the studio launched MI 7 at the same time and disclosed that “Mission: Impossible 8” will be published soon after. The eighth installment is still in the works and should begin once the final details for this forthcoming film are finalized.
