Locke & Key Season 3 to be the end of the series Confirmed by Netflix

Netflix has revealed that the third and final season of the adult comic adaptation ‘Locke & Key’ will air in 2022. According to Netflix, Locke & Key Season three will be the last one. If you’re a fan, you’ll be pleased to know that season 3 was initially intended to be the final one. The first and second seasons featured ten episodes each, so it’s not ordinary. And there will be ten episodes in the upcoming season as well. Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill, the show’s writers and executive producers, know precisely when and how to wrap up a story like Locke & Key.

A release date for the third season of Locke and Key on Netflix

Cuse and Averill’s opinion that three seasons was the appropriate duration for the Locke family’s journey to end when they began working on the series. They were overjoyed to be able to tell Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s extraordinary story in the manner in which they envisioned. However, they are keeping the mystical keys for themselves.

Cuse and Averill joked that they were nearing the conclusion of production when they said this. Even though Netflix hasn’t set an official release date for Locke & Key Season 3, fans should expect it to arrive towards the end of the year. In February 2020, Locke and Key premiered. It was revealed in March of 2020 that Season 2 would be renewed. That year, the third season of Locke & Key was announced in December, with the two-season filming in Toronto taking place simultaneously. Season 2 was launched in October of last year.

The storyline of Locke & Key

To follow the Locke siblings after their father’s untimely death, a new supernatural drama series has been ordered by ABC. A cache of mystical keys may hold clues to the mysterious death of their father, as the three siblings discover when they relocate back to their family home, Keyhouse, with their mother. Children learn about the different keys and their powers, but a terrible demon awakens and will stop at nothing to steal them from Locke’s possession.

Locke & Key Season 3 is expected to premiere in March, but Netflix’s Marketing Prep is likely to delay it. Netflix has not yet given an exact release date for the show, but its inclusion in its lineup of shows in 2022 has been confirmed. According to the “Get Geeked” marketing, Locke & Key Season 3 was set for release in 2022 alongside Alice in Borderland, The Witcher: Blood Origin, The Midnight Club, and The Sandman, among many other genre shows. In Joe Hill’s words, the fans don’t have to wait too long. The series may be released between April and June of 2022, depending on the season.
