Universal has created a video that tells people about the new movie coming out this month called Halloween Kills. It is a sequel to David Gordon Green’s movie from last year, which made over $250 million. The first movie was about Laurie Strode, and Halloween Kills is about the town of Haddonfield. Another thing that will be in the sequel is mob mentality. Green said it would also be “bigger, badder, nastier, crazier” than we see in movies like this. Judy Greer said it would have a lot of action and blood.
“David wanted to know what would happen in Haddonfield if there was a lot of violence. No one knows, but it could be bad.” Danny McBride says in the video, looking very serious. There are many shots of the movie with people getting hurt and fire. The song “Tangerine Dream” is playing in the background.
The Halloween movies were started in 1978 by the famous John Carpenter. The new movies also have Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, and Anthony Michael Hall. The movie is based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill.
And they are so interesting. Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are both icons of the genre. They have gone through many changes, and they are still popular today.
Halloween Kills is coming out on October 15th. You can watch the trailer here and read more about it below.
Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left the masked monster Michael Myers caged in her basement. They were sure that they had finally killed him. But then Laurie was hurt, and she thought that he had hurt her too. Michael finally gets free. He starts to kill again, and Laurie fights back. She is still hurting, but she isn’t alone. Other people fight Michael, too, and they come together to ensure he doesn’t hurt anyone else. They form a group that can stop him. Evil dies tonight.
