As we’ve seen in the past, it takes a long time for an anime to announce its following season. However, in the instance of Demon Slayer, that theory is disproved. The second season of the Demon Slayer anime has just finished airing. And the production company (Ufotable) has already announced Season 3 of Demon Slayer. Well, given the anime’s popularity, this was always going to happen. The most intriguing aspect of the anime would be that the manga was completed in 2020. As we’ve seen, an anime adaptation of a manga that has already been completed is unusual. For example, one of the former big three, Bleach, did not get an animation adaptation for its final arc at first. Studio Pierrot is finally presenting the anime’s last arc in 2022 after receiving fantastic support from fans worldwide and planning it for quite some time. Since the manga ended, it took more than six years to translate the last arc.
Regardless, one advantage of the manga’s completion is that any fan can plunge into it and discover what happens next. However, many individuals prefer to watch motion pictures than still pictures. As a result, they’d like not to be spoiled and instead wait for Demon Slayer Season 3. At the same time, we want to know how the story will end without being spoiled. Netflix, Crunchyroll, & Funimation will all air new episodes.
As a result, we will not cover the potential release date for Demon Slayer Season 3 in this post. But we’ll talk about what could happen next.
What Is This Swordsmith Village All About?
As we’ve seen thus far, each episode of this anime focuses on adapting a single arc from the manga at a time. The Mugen Train storyline of the manga-inspired the film, while the Entertainment District arc inspired the second season. The Swordsmith Village arc will be the centerpiece of Demon Slayer Season 3 right away.
This particular settlement is associated with the Demon Slayer Corps. We’ve already seen how the Fuji Family shelters the Demon Slayers and how the Kakushi Family cleans up after each combat. Similarly, this hidden village is the birthplace of Nichirin Swords and serves as a recovery and training ground for Demon Slayers.
Hashira Hashira Hashira Hashira Hashira Hashira Hashira Hashir
We saw 9 Hashira members of the Demon Slayer Corps at the story’s start. At the end of the Mugen Train Arc, the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku died. Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, on the other hand, retired after the end of an Entertainment District Arc.
However, two Hashira will be seen in action in the upcoming Demon Slayer Season 3. Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji & Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito are their names.
‘The Debut of Two Demons of Higher Rank’
Akaza, the top rank three Demon of the twelve Kizuki, was featured in the Mugen Train Arc. Daki and Gyutaro, two upper-rank six Demons, were seen in the previous season. Gyokko (Rank 5) and Hantengu (Rank 6) are two upper-rank demons who are expected to appear in the anime’s third season (rank four).
Nezuko’s Character Has Grown a Lot
On Nezuko, the Swordsmith Village Arc will bring about unexpected and massive changes. Something unprecedented would happen to her, and the balance between the two competing powers will be thrown off. This shift, however, comes at a high cost. Tanjirou must give up the essential item in his life, breaking his heart in the process.
